Venus Williams joins sister in 4th round

WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — The One swing from finishing her week's work, the tennis star Venus Williams toed the baseline, dribbled the green ball, just gave it a toss and delivered yet another thunderclap serve at sun-kissed Wimbledon.

The ace bounced off Court 1 backstop as Venus trotted to the net to bid another foe farewell.

The tennis scoreboard shown 127 mph, the fastest women's in tennis world serve ever recorded at Wimbledon. And the board also had Williams win 6-1, 7-5 Saturday over qualifier Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez.

It was an upset-filled week at the Wimbledon tournament and a rough one for American tennis, but the Williams sisters ignored both trends. The Four-time champion Williams and two-time champion Serena won three matches each without dropping one set.

Monday's round of 16, as did No. 2-ranked Rafael Nadal on the men's side.

With The No. 1-ranked Ana Ivanovic and No. 2 Maria Sharapova eliminated, and with the No. 3 Jelena Jankovic limping to win on Saturday, prospects look great an all-Williams final next weekend.
